Qualifications:

• They required us to perform survelliance audit on about 170 buildings (of which, more than 80% are completed); in Aceh (NGO project after Tsunami);
• Those buildings are mostly 1 storey & 2 storey;
• The audit will be focused on structures (checking foundations & columns) using simple equipments;
• The procedures are defined and routine;
• We need about 8 to 10 contract staff of Civil Engineering qualifications and structural background/experien ce;
• Those with 3 to 4 years post graduate experience will be more than sufficient;
• The work is expected to be completed between 2 months (minimum) to 3 months (maximum), depending of the staff we have;
• The project located in Aceh.

Education: Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) from Mining or Civil Engineering or Geologist with Class II Blaster Certificate

2. Good communication skills in English, written & verbal.
3. Understanding applications of drill blast design and shot plus/ plansoftware
4. Familiar with designing drill and blast, leading the team and explosives handling

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, reviewand implement suitable strategies to provide optimal blasting solutionsand improve blasting performanceto operations.
2. Review and analyse drill efficiency and utilisation to ensuredrill is working productively in the most cost effective and safe manner.
3. Coordinate blastingactivities, lead and control blasting crewto ensure agreed mine plan is being followed.
4. Analyze and communicate drilling and blasting issues to short term engineer and mining operationin order to provide technical support to site based personnel.
5. Monitor and control drill and blast operations and activities to ensure high standards of safety are always upheld.
6. Initiate, monitor and control drill and blast activities as well as maintain continuous improvement initiatives in drill and blast areas in order to increase efficiency.
7. Prepare and review subcontractor reports, prepare quantities for invoices and analyze drill and blast cost to ensure they meet the budget.
